Between The Images is a bizarre image of two people in a postapocalyptic landscape from the future. It is a place without reference; a non-place. We see naked skin on concrete. It is cold. The sun is shining. Goosebumps and dry earth. A broken radio plays a romantic song. The protagonists wander around in an in an indefinable place. They wear broken mirrors on their skin, nothing else. They face each other but do not see each other. Through the mirrors, the bodies disappear partially disappear or blur with the surroundings. The film is a string of images images, without narration. The structure arises from the movement, from the images themselves. It is not the individual image or the sequence of sequence of individual images, but what arises between between the images, between the first between the first and the last, between the visual and acoustic image, that interests me.
